Will There Be Aliens Fireteam DLC?
Xenomorphs are massing on a planet and the Hive Queen is at the head of the attack. Are these new enemies just a rumor or will they actually make it to Fireteam?
Xenomorphs are massing on a planet
Xenomorphs are a dangerous threat to mankind, and a new threat is on the horizon. That threat is the mutagenic pathogen. It spreads from one xeno to another, making xenos even more dangerous.
Aliens: Fireteam is a third-person shooter, set in the Alien universe. It is a cooperative title, and features waves of enemies to take down. It is played as a member of a Colonial Marine squad.
Aliens: Fireteam is available for PC and PlayStation 4 on August 24. It includes twelve missions, and a co-op mode where you can play with two players. It includes leveling up, gear customization, and a single player mode.
There are also several new features to explore. Aliens: Fireteam is a new addition to the Alien franchise, and it is a great way to experience a re-imagining of the Alien films.
Xenomorph Runners
Xenomorphs are a type of alien threat that can attack from any angle. They have the ability to swarm through doors, run through walls and attack from the shadows.
The aliens in Alien Isolation are designed to attack the most vulnerable marines. Their mutagenic substance called “Pathogen” causes them to change into pale and sickly forms. They are also designed to outsmart and eviscerate their marine targets.
These feral creatures are essentially reskins of the existing Xenomorphs. They are not a game changer, but they do add a little challenge to the game. They can also cause a lot of damage to your team.
There are several different types of Xenomorphs, but the most basic is the Runner. These creatures crawl along the floor and wall. They can also climb ceilings and jump to attack a character. They are vulnerable to acid blood. When they are killed, they explode and cause tremendous damage to the team.
Hive Queen
Introducing a new strain of xenomorph mutations, new weapons, new skins, a new game mode, and a new Queen to hunt, the Pathogen expansion pack for Aliens: Fireteam Elite is sure to please fans of the franchise. The Pathogen DLC will also feature a new Crossplay feature, allowing players to play against each other, or against the AI.
The Pathogen DLC is the first major piece of post-launch content to be offered to Aliens: Fireteam Elite fans. Players can expect to test their mettle against new story missions that send Colonial Marines to the surface of the moon, to an Engineer ruin, and even to the hive of a mutated Xenomorph Queen. The Pathogen DLC also features a new game mode, a crossplay feature, and some new challenge cards.
Xenomorph Spitters
Xenomorph Spitters are one of the more interesting types of enemies you’ll encounter in Aliens: Fireteam. These aliens use a burning AOE spit projectile to gob at Marines from range. They also take a fair amount of damage, and can be a challenge to beat.
Aliens: Fireteam will be hitting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this summer. The game is set in the universe of the Alien movies, and features some cool collectibles that will unlock cosmetics and rare items.

Pathogen blight and brute
Introducing new enemies, new weapons and gear, and a new campaign, the Pathogen Expansion adds new content to Aliens: Fireteam Elite. It features a three-mission story campaign that follows the Endeavor crew on their investigation of a new hive of Xenomorphs. This is the first major DLC for the game, and it includes several new perks and cosmetics.
New Xenomorph enemies include the Pathogen Brute, who is a giant, agile brute with enormous fists. These fists jut out at the end of each of its arms, creating shockwaves that can inflict damage to nearby enemies. The Brute is also equipped with clubs for bashing enemies.
Pathogen is the first major DLC for Aliens: Fireteam Elite. It introduces new enemies, weapons, and environments, as well as a new campaign.
Pathogen’s base game is a little stale
Despite the fact that Aliens: Fireteam Elite launched a few years back, it is still a good time to get it re-evaluated. With the addition of a handful of new multiplayer modes, a handful of content packs, and the ability to play co-op against AI foes, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is still a solid option for a discerning multiplayer gaming enthusiast.
Having said that, Aliens: Fireteam Elite has a few shortcomings, most notably a lack of a compelling campaign mode. Thankfully, that is all but solved by way of a big content pack dubbed the aforementioned opus. With that said, it is not hard to see why Aliens: Fireteam Elite has earned a spot on our list of the best multiplayer games to play.
