Pathogen’s base game is a little stale
Despite the fact that Aliens: Fireteam Elite launched a few years back, it is still a good time to get it re-evaluated. With the addition of a handful of new multiplayer modes, a handful of content packs, and the ability to play co-op against AI foes, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is still a solid option for a discerning multiplayer gaming enthusiast.

Thankfully, that is all but solved by way of a big content pack dubbed the aforementioned opus. With that said, it is not hard to see why Aliens: Fireteam Elite has earned a spot on our list of the best multiplayer games to play.
